One of the most popular books on the subject of golf swing fundamentals was written by Jack Nicklaus. The book, written in the 1980s, describes all aspects of developing a consistent golf swing.
Nicklaus emphasizes the address position more than any other segment of the swing. He believes that a good setup is 80% of a successful golf swing. He states that ” in the game of golf the player has full and complete control over the shot because the ball remains stationary.” In just about every other sport there is a “moving” ball. You will find this to be one of the best books ever written about the game of golf.
