Creative Commons License photo credit: SD Dirk   With the USGA’s new regulations, Tour players must switch-over to the new grooves for the 2010 season.  Recreational players can continue to use the old grooves until 2024. 

New Models: = Titleist Vokey Spin-Milled C-C $119 – features lower-spinning grooves and a higher trajectory on full shots with less stopping power from the rough.  Cleveland CG15 $119 – incorporates the firms new “zip grooves”  with a laser milled clubface treatment which results in a very rough texture for maximum spin.  Callaway X Series Jaws $109 - forged from soft 1020 carbon and steel the Jaws series features “Mack Daddy” (MD) grooves for added spin.  Mizuno MP-T10 $109 - The firms most aggressive grooves ever are the new “Quad Cut” which maximizes groove width and depth.  The MP-T10 is forged from 1025E  carbon steel.
