Creative Commons License photo credit: manuel | MC   Manufacturers pay mega bucks to golfers for their endorsements.  Tiger Woods, after winning his first Masters, received a 90M endorsement from Nike.  Almost every golfer on the PGA Tour receives endorsement money from one company or another.  Why is it that the American consumer has to pay a hefty premium when purchasing anything with a company logo on it?

Why should you pay $30. for a name-brand golf hat when a typical baseball cap costs $15?  The way I see it, these companies should be happy as meadow larks, when a consumer wears their Co. logo because it’s a walking advertisement for them.  The catch here is that YOU have to pay top dollar just to be THEIR walking billboard !  Not me folks !
