photo credit: manuel | MC Manufacturers pay mega bucks to golfers for their endorsements. Tiger Woods, after winning his first Masters, received a 90M endorsement from Nike. Almost every golfer on the PGA Tour receives endorsement money from one company or another. Why is it that the American consumer has to pay a hefty premium when purchasing anything with a company logo on it?
Why should you pay $30. for a name-brand golf hat when a typical baseball cap costs $15? The way I see it, these companies should be happy as meadow larks, when a consumer wears their Co. logo because it’s a walking advertisement for them. The catch here is that YOU have to pay top dollar just to be THEIR walking billboard ! Not me folks !
