Pre-round Practice

Because of the human element, a golf swing is never exactly the same from day to day.  In order to get the most out of pre-round practice, ”test the water” for any potential swing inconsistencies.

Don’t try to hit every club in your bag, hit some balls with a mid iron (5-6) and test the waters.  If you are satisfied with your shots, you are good to go, if not, decide where the problem lies and go with it for the entire round.  If you are fading the ball, play the fade etc.  Remember, it’s not the club that matters, it’s your swing that counts.
