Ball Alignment

photo credit: laszlo-photo Ball alignment is essential in the game of golf, especially when putting. For years, many golfers simply used the logo on the ball to align their shots. Somehow, the ball manufacturers realized that this was a good idea and started to add straight lines (still in the form of logo’s) to their golf balls.
Many players make bold lines with a magic marker. The idea is to direct the line towards the path the ball should take towards the cup. The line on the ball is aligned uniformly with the marker on the putter.
A player can also use the marker on the ball to align tee shots. Some players also say they can focus better using the marker for alignment on their drives.
