The new Cleveland Wedges

photo credit: Kevitivity Cleveland Golf has introduced their new Laser Milling technology. The new process will be used on the face of the new CG15 wedges. The process includes four perfectly calibrated texture lines that are milled in between each of the Zip Grooves to create a “breakthrough” in surface roughness. This type of surface texture maximizes spin and falls within the new rules set by the USGA.
Cleveland Golf is one of the most popular wedges on the PGA Tour. The new Zip Groove texture is meant to compete with the, also popular Titleist Vokey Designed, spin-milled surface. Both Cleveland Golf and Titleist Vokey wedges are sales leaders throughout the globe.
The new Cleveland Golf Zip Groove wedges will make their debut in 2010.
