<p>Johnny Miller had such an extreme cae of the yips that he would imagine (while putting) that it was his own son who was actually putting the ball for him.  Sometimes, on short putts he would look at the cup instead of the ball.  During one period, in order to neutralize his condition, he put a big red dot on the end of his grip.  &#8220;All I did was watch the red dot whenever I putted,&#8221; Miller said.</p>
