Creative Commons License photo credit: nd.strupler   If you want to improve your game, try to play bogey golf.  This is how it works:  Every golfer wants to shoot par but very few are able to do so, many PGA Pros can’t do so.  Why not think in terms of playing bogey golf.

Follow me:  If par is 72 and you bogey every hole, you come in with a 90.  If you can par the 4 par five’s (shouldn’t be too difficult) that brings your score down to 86.  Now you have 14 holes (chances) left to shoot par or better.  Presume you get 1 birdie and 2 more pars, that brings your total score to 82. 

Remember, it’s all in how you look at it.  Raise your expectations (bogeys) and lower your scores.  Try this, it really works.
