Let’s start with the left foot (right handers): The left toe should be pointed slightly towards the target, doing so will allow you to make a full body turn on the follow-through. Keeping the left toe pointed straight at address restricts your follow-through.
The right foot is what some call “the brake.” The toe should be pointed slightly to the right, however, pointing it too far to the right will inhibit a good weight shift and body turn.
The next time you visit the range, experiment, using various toe angles to determine which positions gives the best results. Suttle changes in feet position can have a very positive influence on the length of your golf shots.
