A. Your left hand position (grip) should be an extension of your lead arm. The lead arm and shaft should be in line. B. Keep the hands and club-shaft ahead of the ball during address, this promotes striking the ball with a descending blow. C. Don’t try to lift the ball off the turf which happens when the wrists are bent through the impact zone. Instead, rely on the loft of the club to get the ball airborne. D. Make sure the V’s of both hands point to both shoulders. Setting up with your hands behind the ball promotes inconsistency.
